Currently the game is half-off and you need to jump with the offer, but if you elect to buy the game and also have that dealt with, load up the Minecraft.net website and log in. From there visit Preferences, (it can be on the top bar next to Community) and also the skin page will load up. This was originally the only option and most people shied away from the effort, but thankfully there is an expanded other.

Before the release of Minecraft's Xbox One and PS4 versions, 4J Studios expressed their desire to keep each of the various editions of the game on the same update schedule much like the things they currently do on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.  The developer appears to be adhering to that plan as they have recently says the 1st cross-generational update is arriving soon.

However, the update does add one  new feature for the game as it gives fans to be able to easily build a back-up  of their save files while playing the action.  Players will find a new 'copy save' option available in the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft that will make an extra demonstration of their currently played game world.  This makes it easier for gamers to experiment with new creations, or destroy original documents without affecting their original save.
